This International Gundog Event For Retrievers was held on Sunday / June 6, 2004.

This year sees the introduction of the Gilpa European Retriever Challenge with teams competing from England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, and Italy. Each team consisted of three Retrievers. The tests started with a walk up with a marked retrieve for each dog. Followed by retrieves from cover, water, and a simulated pheasant drive. Each dog was scored out of 100 points.
