The Midland Retriever Club was established to promote and encourage Field Trials and Working Tests. The Club is run for the benefit of its Members. The Club consists of a President, Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer and a committee of six.

The Membership Fee is an annual Euros 6.35, which comes due in February each year. New applications for Membership shall be accepted at the discretion of the committee on receipt of written application, and on being proposed and seconded at the next committee meeting. The Irish Kennel Club Ltd is recognised as the final Court of Appeal in all matters affecting the Club.
